Howard L. Roberts

Howard L. Roberts, 61, of Crossett, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Life Touch Hospice Center in El Dorado.  Mr. Roberts was a native of Crossett and moved back to Crossett in June of this year.  He was a former resident of Nashville, Tennessee.  He graduated from Crossett High School in 1974 and he attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello, the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.  He was employed by New Horizons of Nashville, Tennessee as a Computer Engineer.  He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bart & Chester Owens Roberts and Russell & Cordia Hare Cash.

He will be greatly missed by his surviving parents, Rev. Travis & Peggy Cash Roberts of Crossett; two brothers, Rev. Steve Roberts and wife, Terri, of Arkadelphia and Danny Roberts and wife, Christine, of Bethlehem, Georgia; he was the favorite uncle of nieces, Jessica and Lacey and nephews, Michael and Landon.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Roberts and Rev. Eric Hodge officiating.  A Private burial will be at Pinewood Memorial Park.  Honorary pallbearers are Jon D. Cash, Michael Roberts, Landon Roberts, Zackary Vest, John Pennington, Royce Harville, Ralph Jackson and Lee Patrick.  

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
