Ervin Doyle Streeter, 68, of Hamburg, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Streeter was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg. He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1966. He worked for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for 33 years having retired in 2011. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, a Mason and a member of the Hamburg Masonic Lodge #465. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ervin Streeter in 1993 and a brother, Rev. Darrell Streeter in 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lynnette Sawyer Streeter of Hamburg; three sons, Kevin Streeter and wife, Lesa, of Crossett, Tony Streeter and wife, Connie, Timothy Streeter and wife, Mikki, all of Hamburg; his mother, Lavelle Hogan Streeter of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Tyler Streeter and wife, Kayla, Joey, Kebo and Kelsey Streeter; one niece and one nephew.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Elvin McDill and Bro. Willie Thornhill officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kebo Streeter, Tyler Streeter, Joey Streeter, Jarrett Allen, Randall Streeter and Frank Davis.
Visitation will be 12:30-2 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
