Dorothy Lee Kelley Clark, 85, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her residence in Hamburg. Mrs. Clark was a native and life long resident of Hamburg. She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1948. She was a homemaker and she and her husband owned Deep South Construction for many years. She was on the Regional Jail Inspection Committee and she had served on the Hamburg Library Board and the Hamburg Baseball Commission for many years. She was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, S.J. “Jimmy” Clark in 2010; a daughter, Patricia Ann “Prissy” Clark in 2001; her parents, Lee Simpson & Lillie Maude Tumlison Kelley; two brothers, J.T. & Johnny “Simp” Kelley and a sister, Shirley Kelley.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Lee Morton and husband, Dickey, of Hamburg, Susan Lynn Jasay of Hamburg and Kelley Jo Miles of Monticello; a brother, Jimmy Kelley of Hamburg; seven grandchildren, Joseph Morton, Jonathan Morton, James Morton and fiancé, Hannah Carter, Julie Harriman and husband, Kyle, Anna Jasay, Jodi Miles and Joey Miles and a great-grandchild, Saylor Morton.
Graveside funeral services and interment are 10 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015 in the Hamburg Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating. Pallbearers are Joseph Morton, Jonathan Morton, James Morton, Joey Miles, Mike Jasay, Kyle Harriman and Dickey Morton. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
