Charlene Doss, 90, of Hamburg, died Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett. Mrs. Doss was a native of Hamburg and a resident of the Milo Community outside of Hamburg since 1949. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, R. B. Doss; her parents, Limmie & Lottie Stell Willis; two brothers, Dayerl & Joe Willis and a sister, Gracie Harris.
She is survived by four sons, Robert Glen Doss and wife, Mary, of San Bernardino, California; Willis Doss and wife, Delouise, of Crossett, Dan Doss of Round Rock, Texas and Dale Doss and wife, LaSonia, of Crossett; two daughters, Tina Tyler and husband, John, of Crossett and Lisa Rice and husband, Randy, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Boseman officiating. Burial will be in the Unity Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Robert Meeks, Jamie Meeks, Nicholas Meeks, Scotty Richardson, Julian Estelle and Pat Allison. Honorary pallbearers are John Richardson and Jimmy Meeks. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the church.
