Bobby Ray Graham, Sr., 79, of Fountain Hill, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. Mr. Graham was a native and life long resident of Fountain Hill. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Georgia-Pacific Forestry for 29 years having retired in 2006 and he was a member of the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He served on the Fountain Hill City Council and was the Mayor of Fountain Hill for a number of years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Coy T. & Mary V. Burch Graham; a sister, Martha Louise Graham and a brother Gerald Lynn Graham.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lou Allen Graham; a daughter, Sharon Trantham and husband, Gene, all of Fountain Hill; three sons, Bob Graham, Jr., of Lake Village, Glen Graham and wife, Martha, of Little Rock and Barry Graham and wife, Vickie, of Fountain Hill; two brothers, Jimmy Lloyd Graham of Porta Verde, Mexico and Curtis Waymon Graham of Fountain Hill; two sisters, Dianne Yelvington and husband, Kerry, of Drasco and Barbara Jean Stout and husband, Kenny, of Beebe; an aunt, Ancy Mae McKiever of Monticello; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Graham and Loretta Graham both of California; a brother-in-law, Larry McKinney of Ward; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Gregory and Bro. Jake Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ralph Jones, Dale McKiever, Boyd Savage, Frank Wesson, Ray Wesson and Bradley Graham. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Ralph Hollis, Ed Crouch, Aaron Thompson, and John Patrick. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
