Bessie Sanderlin

Bessie Sanderlin, 83, of Hamburg, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett.  Mrs. Sanderlin was a native of Drew County and a resident of Hamburg for the past 60 years. She was a homemaker.  She was active in the Ashley County Home Extension and she worked the voting polls for many years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church.   She was a devoted wife, mother and Mimaw.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Sanderlin in 1998; her parents, Cecil Brown and Evelyn Arnold Myrick; a brother, Floyd Brown, a sister, Violet Spoonts and an infant sister.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Sanderlin and wife, Debbie, Mike Sanderlin and wife, Ramona, and John Sanderlin all of Hamburg; a brother-in-law; Eddie Spoonts of Brennan, Texas and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Brown of Hamburg; eight grandchildren, Jessie Keen and husband, Jason, of Conway; Jayne Moore and husband, Billy, of Conway; Cija Joy and husband, Brandon, of Jena, Louisiana; Cassie Jo Harrod and husband, Brandon, of Los Angeles, California, Bryce Sanderlin of Hamburg, Kaitlyn Sanderlin of Monticello, Paige Sanderlin of Conway and Claire Sanderlin of Hamburg and three great-grandchildren, Cannon, Finley & Lila Lee.

Graveside services and burial will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Union Ridge Cemetery in Drew County, with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating.  Memorials may be made to the Ashley County Library, 211 E. Lincoln Street, Hamburg, AR 71646.  

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
