Ander LaDon Fleming, 69, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Central Arkansas Veteran’s Healthcare Center in Little Rock. Mr. Fleming was a native of Crossett and a resident of Hamburg since 1978. He graduated from Crossett High School in 1965 and he was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for Georgia-Pacific Corporation Paper Mill for 30 years and he was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jackson & Jewel Maxwell Fleming; four sisters, Norma Jean Fleming, Frances Deal, Verda Mae Jenkins and Redell Anders; three grandchildren, Chase Fleming, Faith Fleming and Brittney Lansdale.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda Dean Fleming; two sons, Christopher LaDon Fleming; Clint Fleming and wife, Candi; a sister, Glenda Henderson and husband, J.C., all of Hamburg; five grandchildren, Don Paul, Blake, Drew, Kyle and Austin Fleming and three great-grandchildren, Tristian & Chase Fleming and Noah Allbritton.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Craig Chain officiating. Burial will be in the Unity Cemetery. Pallbearers are Don Paul Fleming, Tom McLemore, Lee Bufkin, Randy Deal, Drew Fleming, Blake Fleming and Aaron Watt.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
