Dear Richard, John, and to the other members of the Murdaugh family. Your mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother was a beautiful woman with a warm sweet smile for everyone she met. We will greatly miss her shining face. We will miss the delicious divinity she always made around Christmas.

Murdaugh Family, Mrs. Gladys was always so young at heart and in attitude. She was such a welcome addition to the Portland community and to Portland Baptist Church; she will be missed. My prayers are with you all as you adjust to the transition of being without her here on earth.
