Mrs. Dorothy Mae Stell Fox, 92, of Hamburg, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Pinewood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett. Mrs. Fox was a native of Hamburg and a resident of Ashley County since the 70’s. She was saved at Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church when she was 15 years old. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central City Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She loved everyone, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her cat Foxy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, E.H. (Hardy) Fox; her parents, R.Z. “Zimmery” & Annie Mae Kelley Stell and two brothers, Garland & Jack Stell.
She is survived by three sons, Dale Lauhon and wife, Martha, Gerald Lauhon and wife, Betty, and Philip Lauhon and wife, Hilda, all of Hamburg; a brother, Robert Stell and wife, Mary, of Sewell, Nebraska; a sister, Carolyn Berryman and husband, Laron, of Fountain Hill; seven grandchildren, Jackie Lauhon and wife, Angie, Ronnie Lauhon and wife, Kim, Martha Jo Collins and husband, Marc, Kim Jones and husband, Mike, Becky Smith and husband, Kevin, Vickie Simpson and husband, Chris, and Amy Hartshorn and husband, Andrew, 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Mae McDonald, Joy Nelson, Nell Clark and Ken Byers.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be 3 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Pinewood Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Michael Reese officiating. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Slot 661, Little Rock, AR 72202-3591.
